I'll go first. My current project is a 1950 John Deere B. I chose it pretty much because I wanted an old deere and the price was right. It will also suit my needs on these 10 acres as well.

Future plans involve the Farmall H that used to be my wife's great-grandfathers.

Going to add on to my shop starting the first week in June.

Got to replace some sheet metal on Dads Chevy pickup truck and paint it.

Then, after lunch, I got to paint my 88 Buick.

In my spare time I will try to get some real work done.

My current project is a bit contraversial, we are trying to put my 1917 25HP 20th Century traction engine back on steel.
The original wheels and undercarriage were lost to the scrap drive during WWII. It was re-ed (reconfigured, semi-restored) the way it is on a Ford bus chassis in 1960...
Pros to putting it back on steel: It was the last 20th Century produced, It is the last one known to be left this size, and one of 3 operable survivors of this make. Some rather poor engineering choices in the 1960 conversion continue to cause manueverability and other problems.
Cons against the changeover: Lack of original 20th Century parts will require a bit of creative "restification". For half (41yrs) of her existance she has looked like this, compared to only 25 or so in her original state. (If anybody is violently enough opposed to the reconversion to trade her for an operational Baker or Case steam engine or roller, then I'll reconsider....)

Anyway, we are currently seeking a chain and bolster steering parts, including the gearset, and the spring shock absorbers for the chains...anybody got any good leads?

You mean after I get all the wood for next winter in the shed, get the greenhouse built for the wife, lay the new drain line for the kitchen sink, get the sugarhouse built, get my Sisters Farmall H back together, and log off some White Ash and Oaks?

Also have a 1942 Farmall H behind my Indy house that I got in trade for the JD 4400 combine. That H is as stuck as they get. I'll work on it off and on as time permits. I don't think anybody will steal it.....
