1954 IH Farmall Super MTA Antique Tractor
| I bought this tractor in 1989 for 1450 from the Internatioal Harvester dealer in Eureka IL. Now I have 4547 invested, counting nothing for my labor. The big ticket item was 450 for sandblast, prime, and paint. In Year 2000 I paid 2000 for comparable paint job on another tractor. I am age 66 in year 2000. Hearing this tractor run and driving it makes me feel good and I hope ads years to my life. It is not for sale as I am using it to build my estate. The man in the photo used my tractor for background for his Washington IL High School Year book photo. I was his age when my dad got a new 1952 Farmall Super M to replace his Farmall F-20. Starter, 4 rows, and 16 MPH road gear - what a thrill! Submitted by Carrol Paul Killough, from IL |
