1967 Massey Ferguson Industrial 50 with Case Backhoe Antique Tractor
| Here is the MF Industrial that I rebuilt with the help of Big Dean and Jack from the MF talk board. When purchased, the Perkins AD4-203 diesel was so bad that it wouldn't start in warm weather without ether. When torn apart, there was not one compression ring still in one piece. It purrrrrrrs now! I made the loader bucket, because it didn't have one. It was designed in AutoCAD and I torched the plate stock to the dimensions and welded together. I made adaptors and mounted the backhoe from a CASE 420B that I had onto the loader frame extensions. The front pump on the MF is a bit large for the backhoe and I have to run it slightly above idle to prevent 'slapping' it around too hard. The tires are 18.4' x 26' off of a combine that I bought at auction for 9.00! Submitted by Ken McWilliams, from OH |
