1973 John Deere 1020 with loader adapted from JD2010 Antique Tractor
| I bought two of these in 1993 (industrial 301)from the Montgomery County, OH Joint Vocational School class projects. They were former State of Ohio mowing tractors with side-mounted sickle bars. The vocational school had compeletely rebuilt them including industrial yellow paint. This tractor has stayed on the farm so long because I like it so well, because it is powerful, agile, and the right size for me. I added the model 36 loader from the John Deere 2010 that I had previously owned. I didn't like the 2010, but sure needed the loader. The loader is mounted onto each side of the engine and is very rigid compared to when it was mounted on the old 2010 at the rear axles. Submitted by Ken McWilliams, from OH |
