1937 BN John Deere Antique Tractor
| This photo was taken at our local West Ridge Mall where we just completed our 4th annual indoor show. The BN was my grandfather's first and only tractor. I had my first driving experience on this tractor. The 'N' in BN means it has a single front wheel. Made very easy steering while cultivating 6 rows of sugar beets. The two-way plow was needed so that we could plow from one side of the field to the other without a dead furrow. The land was flood irrigated so no extra ditches were wanted in the middle of the field. Just think, at 16 inches at a time across the field, how long would it take to plow your land??
