If you're just looking to have fun, easy things first. 1. Forget the octane booster, anything above 90 gas is just blown out the exhaust pipe. 2. Straight pipe, no muffler. reduce backpressure as much as possible. 3. Open up the gorvernor. I expained this in an earlier string. basically, pull off the cover, back set screw out, try up 4 or 5 turns of the spring. 4. Hotter plugs and coil. 5. Open airway to carb 6. Good used tires. Don't go with new ones, they'll spin easier. If you want to get into the engine a little. 1. Set cam off by one tooth (talked about in an earlier string) 2. Bigger pistons, 4" rebuild kit or bigger. 3. Drill out carb jets 4. Lighten up tractor and drop weight classes Medfarm was right about the weight distribution. you want most of the weight on the rear, so you just carry the fraont tires. Check the strings on the pulling discusion board. Some of them are good.
