I can see that there is play at the steering arm and I will tighten it up first to see how much it helps. I know there are 2 kinds of steering arms: one with a square hole on a square shaft and one with a round hole that fits on a tapered shaft and has a woodruff key. I don't know which style I have yet. Have you ever had to fix slack as I described out where the tie rod arm attaches to the top of the spindle shaft? From looking at the manual, it seems this arm is keyed to the vertical spindle shaft and mine must be wallowed out. Thanks for the information.
