Recently there was a post from a gentleman who had disassembled his light switch to clean it. He e-mailed me that his switch has screws holding the internals in place. I looked at mine and it has a housing made of cast zinc. The internals are held by a crimp in the edge of the housing. Experience with other switches similarly constructed is that the casting will break when one attempts to crimp for the second time. My switch is INDAK. That company makes lots of switches for the lawn and garden products. Anyone have a successful technique for reassembling the type switch I have?
