I got the liftall pump out from my SM today, and found that the tapered bolt I found last weekend did come from the clutch shaft coupling as suggested by one of you fine gents.I also found that the release sleeve carrier was broken from both mounting bolts. This part appears to be cast aluminum. I guess I'll call my friendly dealer tomorrow to see if it's still available. If not, I'll have to make a trip to the boneyard. I had to remove the liftall by myself, so I welded a 1/2 x 2 x 4 plate with a 3/4 inch hole to the top of my floor jack and put it under the liftall, between the two holes for the Tee handles shown in the book. I put a 3/4 inch rod through the two holes with the plate in between to link it together, and it lowered down without a problem.
