If you push the handle all the way down so it's in the first notch the traction control is off. The handle all the way up in the last notch is max traction control. It's main purpose is for plowing to convert the draft load of the plow into down pressure on the rear wheels. It seems that most people never use it. I have a fast hitch manual for that tractor.
