Bama, Is there more than one IH carb used on Cubs? All of mine have a venturi and float hinge preventing the repair you suggest. I have had to resort to the milling machine to flatten them. It would be a lot easier if it was the bottom 1/2 that warped, but that seems to never be the case. George Willer
