No such thing as perfect. But Farmall/IH models including the 300, 350, 400, 450, 460, 560 are all reasonable choices and should have most of the features you are looking for. Some models will have to be converted from 2 point to 3 point, but the conversion is not hard or too expensive. The TA is a possible problem area, but it is a handy feature and parts are still available. How does IH compare with other brands? Not sure there is a good answer for that either. Life (and tractors) is a series of trade-offs...nothing is ever perfect because you have to trade something in one area to gain in another. Brand choices that are good in one geographical area might not be good in another due to lack of dealer support and what have you. I think the IH brand is among the better all around choices...the tractors were among the best available when they were made. Having said that, my next tractor probably won't be an IH, not because they are bad but because I want a variety...Just my opinion...BB
