I can't put my finger on my Farmall book at the moment. I'm helping my neighbor buy a tractor and we have a choice between a Farmall "C" or an "H". The H is a 1940 with no hydraulics but runs good. The C is a 1948 an also runs good. Both have decent rear rubber. Both have been repainted but not restored. These people have about 5 acres and want to use this for snow removal, cleaning out horse corrals, light yard work. I've never used a C, always had M's or H's so I'm not all familiar with what a C can do. Can you put a front end loader on a C and actually do anything? And are there front end loaders made for them? Also, could someone quickly post the horsepower rating for the H and C. Think we can pick up the C for around $1600 and the H for $1100.00 Would appreciate any input. Bobduck
