Stan - Don't think a Charlyn mounting bracket for an SM will fit an SH - at least without modification. The original instrument panels appear quite different between the two as you've observed (SH has the gage centers closer together than the SM, etc) and the two parts carry different part numbers.

Also fitting the Charlyn motor under the hood of an SH will require bending some tin at the top rear of the hood to make room.

But I'm sure it can be made to work - just gonna require a bit more effort to get everything installed. Good luck!
