Sorry mine is a 251 Planter not a 256 I e-mailed the SS to You. If you can't read it, just create the following table in your spread sheet or use a calculator (Wheel Circ / Driveshaft gear) *(Counter shaft input Gear / Counter shaft output Gear) * (Final drive gear / under plate gear) * (plate gear/ # of Cells) = distance between seeds in inches To get Population with 40" rows With I3 being the distance between seeds ((6273/40)/I3)*1000 I have used the following settings the last couple of years 64" Wheel dia 11 tooth on Drive shaft 8 Tooth on Counter Input 10 Tooth on counter Output 10 Tooth on Shaft that drives planter units 12 to the 40 gears under the units 24 Cell Plates 6.4646 distance that seeds are apart 24,259 Population on 40" centers The Spread Sheet formula for the distance between seeds is =(A3/B3)*(C3/D3)*(E3/F3)*(G3/H3) To get the Population with 40" spacing =((6273/40)/I3)*1000 Hope this helps Keith
