International 240 hydraulics

I had a hydraulic leak on my 240 which I repaired. But, I need to know what type of hydraulic fluid do I need to use? Also, I can't find where the fluid goes. Can someone tell me where the hydraulic fluid access is and how can you tell when it is at full capacity.

Another problem I have noticed since I had the leak is that braking has deteriorated. Does losing the hydraulic fluid affect the brakes.

Any help will be appreciated.
