Sounds like you're not getting enough fuel. Is your main metering screw out far enough? Assuming the 460 carb. is something like that on Hs and 300s, the screw should be out about 2 1/2 to 3 full turns (counterclockwise off the seat) as your initial guess, before you tune the carb. The idle screw should be out about 1 turn before tuning. You should also check the flow to the carb. and the screens as the other posts have suggested. Good luck.
