Bud, This project is no fun. First be sure to support and stabilize the tractor. It requires removing the final drive housing(s), among others things - tire/rim, heavy wheel (if rt. side), fender(s), brake clevis, etc. The final drive is heavy, be sure to remove ALL bolts, even those hidden underneath. Don't try to lift the drive unit alone unless you have a lifting device or are the incredible hulk. Brake band comes off with drive unit. While apart check seals, bearings, etc. I fashioned several dowells to help with alignment upon reassembly. If you have other questions e-mail me direct. Good luck John McDevitt
