Dave, I hail from central New Jersey originaly, but am transplanted 35 mi. nw of Green Bay WI. I came here for six weeks in '82, met a northern angel, two children later, I am still here. Guess its to stay. When I was growing up I worked on my uncles potato farm in South Jersey, and then on an experimental station farm at Rutgers University, mostly vegtables and some green house stuff. Alot of Dairy farming up here, when I married my angel she had three uncles dairy farming and just this year the last one sold his cows. Hard to make it go when one day the price of milk is 20.00 a hundred wt. the next its 14.00, or lower. But I guess I was always meant to be country, my first car was a chevy pickup, and all my friends had camaro's. I own a Farmall A 1946 that I am restoring and a International 424 utility that I use to help keep the snow off our 2 acre lot future home of the dream house. When the job gets to be to much I go to our two acres of woods and run the tractor around, clearing snow or taking care of the too many trees we have,I can feel my heart rate slow, blood pressure comes down, its great therapy. I hope to buy 40 or more acres in the near future, but until then our two will do.

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
