What Do I have?

I recently purchased a Farmall model M. The serial number is FBK5801(this was found on the metal plate in front of the starter). There are no other numbers on the plate, except 1595 rpm maximum idle. The farmer that I purchased it from said that it was a 1946 or 1948 model. The numbers do not match those found on these models. It has a 2 row corn picker on it(IH model 234 Snapper serial #534).Could the piker be the 1946 model? What model and options do I have? Thank you.
