While waiting for my welder friend to show, I started to change the front transmission seals on the countershaft and the upper tranny driveshaft. Got the nuts off of the driveshaft coupler but can't get the bolts out. Is this a "Must split tractor" scenario? IT Manual is worthless in this area. It appears that the bolts are pressed into the coupler halves. It also appears that the upper bearing will have to be replaced as there is a lot of play in the driveshaft of the tranny. By the way, the hole in the rearend housing is just a pin hole and not a crack. Don't think it will take much to seal it up. Rearend and tranny are drained, PTO is out and internals are wiped out clean. Thanks all.//FB
