Hi Chris Just went out and checked the engine in my 46 "M". Part of the cast number on the right side of the engine has been ground off. I have a hand stamped 6722 number in the ground off area with a cast DH following it. I got to looking at the engine after I discovered that the normal serial number was blank when I bought this orginal tractor several months ago. I was told that this was the industral version of the "M" engine called a "U5" engine. It has a dip stick and a boss under the carb for the installation of a fuel pump. I have a plate covering the hole for the pump and I understand that the "M" engine cam has a lobe to operate the pump. I have discovered one catalog company that list a book for the "U5" engine. I haven't put the tractor on a dyno, yet. I have a nice clean running tractor that needs a lot of other help. Wayne
