Kevin, Did you recently acquire this H or have you had it awhile? Has it ever run right for you? If you just got it and wasn't running when you brought it home, I'd suspect almost anything and everything. Bring number one cyl. to TDC. on compression stroke. Start with the timing gears. Pull the front end off, remove the crank pulley, remove the timing gear cover. check to make sure that the single marked tooth on crankshaft gear is messed between the two marked teeth on the camshaft gear. (You may see just one double punch mark on the camshaft gear.) Then, match up the single punch mark on the camshaft gear with the single mark on the mag/distributor gear. Check to see that the rotor is pointing at the number one plug wire position at this point. With all this correct, you should have it close enough to be able to get it going. Make sure also that the valve lash is around .017 as close as you can. If it starts, you can fine tune everything from this point on. Good luck.//FB
