I have the tela-depth which was the early fast hitch and have found that it works very will with a 412 fast hitch plow. You change the depth of the plow by raising or lowing the hitch point in the front. We just got done putting on a traction control fast hitch on my friend’s 400 and it looks like it will work very will too. Your friend is right. Without these type of hitches you don’t have any depth control. A good fast hitch around here will run between $350 to $400
