Just wanted to emphasize the beauty of the Yesterday Tractor Web Site. I work at a large company on a team that is trying to promote a "community of practice" for knowledge transfer. This site is 100% of what the company wants to be.
The characteristics are: people with a common passion, freely exchanging info, archive of knowledge, no intervention, informal, doers doing it, story telling, leaders selected by the community, links to all relevant information. It's all here -- what a great place.
