I agree with The Red - the Stanley muffler has the "best" sound.

I bought a couple mufflers from Ken Updike (Carter and Grunenwald) last year. They sound like the old Stanleys we used to run back in the 60's. After a year of use both mufflers still look like new.

The H/M muffler Central Tractor stocks is too sharp sounding IMO - drives me nuts after a while. And they rust out fast too.
