Have a Farmall 200 with the same setup, except that mine has a wide front-end. If you look at the three hole mounting pads on the sides, I think you will find that there are two holes on the underside too. Mine has 12" x 2" x 1/2" slabs of steel attached to these holes which run front to the front axle and act as snubbers to keep the front axle from pivoting too far on uneven terrain. My plan is to replace them with 2" angle iron about 3 feet long, and mount a weight box out in front of the radiator on the angle irons. Will use more bolts than the two in the underside of mounting pads. Since the pads will hold up the weight of the entire front end of the tractor, I think it'll hold up a weight box with a couple hundred pounds. Yes, the tractor is a little light when attached to a 3pt disk, unless you like to steer with the brakes! Also have used it on a 2 bottom plow, and 5' brush-hog wouldbe, (heavy). Got along pretty well with them, but that 8 1/2' disk was something else - pulled it OK, if you could steer it!
