They should be 6" across and fit a 16" rim. That 600 probaly is 6.00. The 6 PLX is 6 PLY which is a rating of thickness and strength. You can go just a bit wider, even though it's a 6" you can probaly put something up to a 7.50 on it. It's up to you, they cost more of course. I bought Firestone 7.50x15, 6-ply, 3-rib fronts recently and are happy with them. They cost about $54 each. If you are going to just show this tractor or use it very little, you could get away with using a cheaper tire such as Kelly sold at TSC's Qualtiy Farm/country stores. But for medium-to-heavy use get the good ones such as Fires. Goodyear, B.F. Goodrich.
