look directly into the intake port,s and look for a little bump that runs from top to bottom. i think the 8574 has those ,if it does it makes it a late 1947 and up head like the good 8060 head,they were trying to give the fuel a little direction wen it came to the back wall of the port. and i all-so think that head was from a w-6 ?. had one on a m and cut it .180 to bring the compresion up and it helped, i think the runners and combostion area hold the same cc,s as a 8060.
