Alan, I disagree with John D. You should use a non- pressure cap on your Cub. The Cub has a thermosyphen cooling system. This system does not have a water pump and depends on the water boiling in order to circulate the water through the block and radiator for cooling. The fan only draws the air through the radiator to cool the water back down. The system will work with a pressure cap, but the pressure cap raises the temperature at which the water boils and therefore raises the operating temperature of the engine to a higher temperature than the engine was designed to operate at. If you can't find a non-pressure cap to fit I would recommend using a pressure cap of a maximum of 4 psi untill you find a non-pressure cap. Harold H
