I'm working on my third tractor (not a business!!) and I've kept track of the costs. Judging from the cost of old iron and the costs for parts to restore, and what I see restored stuff sell for, I think it is going to be real hard to make a living off restoring tractors. You might do it if you could get a business going to sell parts to other people that are crazy like all of us tractor nuts. Then you could restore tractors when you were not selling parts.
