Another possibility (has happened to me...): If the motor has just been run at no load, and especially if it doesn't have a thermostat, condensation will build up quickly in the crankcase. Appears to be a coolant leak but is not. Suggest this: Fill the radiator right to the top of the filler neck. Then run the motor and look for bubbles appearing in the coolant. If you find a continuous bubbles you definitely have a head gasket leak.
