Scott: I believe that the 300U uses a 1-1/4 inch carb., but I'll have to look in the parts book to confirm it, and to get the proper part number for you (and I don't have it with me at present). If you can hold off until tomorrow morning, I'll try to keep the brain awake enough to remember to look that up tonight. There should (maybe, once was) a small round tag on the exterior of the carb about 180 degrees around the body from the fuel inlet - which should, again, have the part number on it. It should be fairly obvious, so if you can't see it readily, it's probably gone to join the great gathering of parts tags in the sky.
