Rick, The manual (IT-IH-8) says that for the H prior to serial # 391358, main journal diameter is 2.4975-2.4985. What did the old bearings you took out say on them? STD means standard and is probably what you had in it if the crank has never been turned. Recommend you mic the crank and then order appropriate bearings or else use plasti-gauge when installing the new main caps. The running clearance for the H main bearings is .002-.003" for those prior to ser. # 391358. By the way, main bearing torque on the H is 75ft.lbs.
