The front end doesn't matter as much as the back. The rear Furrow Wheel has more weight (it is lower so there is a slight shift of the center of gravity to the right), AND it has better traction (it is running-with full rubber to dirt contact-on smooth damp freshly turned soil- while the Land Wheel is on grass,stubble,bumpy clods with the outside edge not even touching!) To compensate add more weight to the land side only. My Dad always ran one or two extra weights on the left wheel while plowing. When I only had one set of weights I would put them both on the left wheel. To verify this theroy before you change anything go back and plow and watch the rear wheels very carefully you will most likely be able to see the slippage. Let us know what you find out. D-2 Isn't plowing satisfying?
