The C has a pressurized radiator. I don't know what the pressure is, but you can get a cap from IH or from Tractor Supply. I think it is the same as the M and H. The fact that the radiator is pressurized has no effect on the thermosyphon system. If the radiator boils over, there are other problems, such as crude in the block or radiator. I have an original C manual and it shows the cap with the lever on it, just like you see on the H and M. It also says to fill the radiator to 2 1/4 inches below the top of the filler neck. That is pretty far down and a lot of "cook overs" are probably the result of overfilling. I think you've made the right decision to not add the water pump. You don't need it unless you are really going to work the tractor hard.
