My father and I took the PTO off of our 1944 BN.In the bottom of it was a shattered gear!It is in many many small pieces and all ground up.The teeth are about 3/8 in. thick and it could be anywhere from 4-7 in. in diameter. From the looks of it all the gears are in the pto and rear axle.It may be from the gear box but all the gears(R,1,2,3,4) seem to be there(by that I mean when you put it in gear it locks up)If we take the top of the gear box is anything going to fly out? Thanks for any info. Shawn
