First be sure to support and stabilize the tractor. It requires removing the final drive housing, among others things - tire/rim, fender, brake clevis, etc. The final drive is heavy, be sure to remove ALL bolts, even those hidden underneath. Don't try to lift the drive unit alone unless you have a lifting device or are the incredible hulk. Brake band comes off with drive unit. While apart check seals, bearings, etc. I fashioned several dowells to help with alignment upon reassembly. Good luck
