I've used HyTran in a Super A, a 140 and now it is in my MD tranny. I've had no problems with gears clashing. The gears do whine a little more I think. I also do not think there is much difference in leaks. Maybe the Hytran is a little better. I don't think gear clash or run down will be a problem if your clutch throwout bearing are in good shape an properly lubed. Of course one advantage of the 90w is that it is cheaper than HyTran and of course quite satisfactory for these old tractors.
