I just brought home my next project. A fella nearby had to clear out some tractors he had intended on restoring from a property. So for $350 dollars I brought home an Allis Chalmers WC to keep my Farmall company. The Allis looks positively primative compared to the M. The engine is stuck and I thought this would be a great tractor to learn how to rebuild an engine on. As soon as I scrap the scale down so I can see the serial number I can find her age. From the options I would venture it is a mid-thirties model. The fella who sold her to me also had a running 1927 McCormick-Deering 10-20. Alas I did not have the money to buy it, but someone else was very interested so I feel confident that the 10-20 will not see the scrap man. Wish me luck! -BTD
