There is one more manufacturer who made carbs for 140's and other models. It is the MARVEL-SCHUBLER (spelling?). I have one of their carbs on my 140. Pretty solid part. I rebuilt it with a few parts from the dealer. All they said I needed was the needle valve and seat, and a couple of gaskets. But all ya gotta do is clean out the passages well. ALL of them. My friend has a M-F trctor that has the entire engine built by MARVEL. They were from Owosso, Mich if I recall..22 miles from here..
