Jim wiring is your problem. Old Red H started cranking real slow 2 years ago and quit. I replace the cable from the starter switch to the starter and she cranked like crazy. That twisted wired corrodes inside and gets to the point where it can't carry enough current to the starter. Whatever post you have that has the cable going to the starter button is the post you want to hook directly over the the starter post. Jim you will probably need a 48 inch 1 gauge cable from the starter switch to the starter. NAPA part number 714891 BEL.
