ole smokey the 2504-air cleaner?

Maybe the air cleaner is contributing to the oil consumption problem. Right now I have crud-busting snake oil in the cylinder and case to clean the rings up. There has been some consumption from the air filter cup.

What weight oil should I use in the filter? And should I see any consumption of that oil? This is my first oil-bath-air-filter tractor.

The first used hydraulic pump was bad. Now that I've gone through the entire hydraulic system, it works great--with the second used pump I put in.
