I bought my first H with the left side brake components missing. I've got everything to replace that side with except the two pins that hold the brake band to the "thighting shaft". I thought i would make them from grade five bolts. But i don't know what they look like. I know i could take the right side apart to look at them but it would really save me some time if you fellows could help. do the pins have heads on them? do they have cotter pins? or are the pins straight and held in by the cover on one side and the tractor housing of the other? know this is trival but i would appreciate the help.
