The tube goes from the breather tube to the back of the head thought a round hole in the bracket for the steering & gauges. The tube is copper, it make a 90 degree tuner coming out of the breather tube down ward and then make a 90 degree tuner toward the engine to the back of the head which it attaches. It is called the " Vent tube " by the way. I have attached a picture, you can see the tube coming out of the breather tube and going down ward :o) This is shown in the IH parts book for a H that you can buy at any IH/Case dealer along with operators manuel :o)
