That happened on my Super A, all it was was a piece of grit stopping up a small orfice in the lower right part of the touch control head. I unscrewed the plug, then took a screwdriver & unscrewed the orfice & cone shaped screen/ straner, and found a piece of grit blocking the hole, It caused the pump to run high pressure all the time & bog the engine.
