While I have my liftall out, I've got it apart and have found one of the valve balls is pitted somewhat from rust. I assume that this has been causing some of my problem with the three point hitch bleeding down. Maybe the cylinder needs a kit too? Anyway, the IT manual says to use a ball 1/32 inch larger to lap the ball seat. I measured the ball I took out, and as best I can tell, It's a 3/4 inch ball. I went to the local bearing distributor to get a new replacement ball and the larger one, but they can't get individual balls. Any leads on where I can get the right size balls? Of course I write this on Sunday without first calling the local Case/IH dealer first. What can I say? I love this website!
