H radiator removal

I have the manuals for My 44 H and still feel stupid about asking whats the easy way to get the stearing shaft out so I can yank the Radiator? I am going to go ahead and split and completly rebuild while I have some of my vision left. thanks from a lonely H owner in tucson Az
P.S. I've tried to search the archives no luck, and I watch the board every day, but no luck so please enlightnen me.
