There was a posting the other day about using anti-sieze compound. I have been using a product called KOPR-KOTE with great sucess. It is a copper based material. I have used it on manifold studs, the exaust threads on the manifold, bolts in general. I also have used quite a bit on my amateur radio aluminum antennas. It is yucky gooey stuff but it works great and a little goes a long way. Temperature range is from -65 degrees to 1800 degrees farenheit and it conducts electricty. It is manufactured by a company called JET LUBE in Houston ,Texas. Their phone number is (713) 674-7617. I called them and they provided me a dealer who shipped it to me. It was about $6 for an 8 oz. container. Disclaimer: I don't own any stock in the company nor am I pushing sales. I just had good luck with it and wanted to share the info.
