If you sit down and think about it most of the 26 letters are/were used.
A,B,C we know,
D denotes Diesel.
E was the engineering name for the straight axil B. This became the C.
F is used as in F-12 or F-20.
G unused as far as I know.
H we know.
I denotes Industrial.
J,K,L unused as far as I know.
M we know.
N denotes Narrow width as in BN.
O denotes Orchard as in O-12 or O-14.
P,Q,R unused as far as I know.
S denotes Super, as in SA or SH.
T is used for TracTRactor or Torque Amplfier.
U denotes Utility.
V denotes High Clear as in AV or HV.
W is used as in W-6 or W-9.
X,Y,Z unused as for as I know.
That doesn't leave many letters to choose from.
